High-quality fire containment blankets are made from heat-resistant silicate fabric and often feature a vermiculite coating on both sides. Reinforced seams, tear-resistant thread, carrying loops and special pleats ensure quick and safe handling. Some versions are tested or certified in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1, DIN 54345-1 or DIN SPEC 91489.

Tested materials and high temperature resistance

These include, among others, fire behaviour tests in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1, electrical conductivity tests in accordance with DIN 54345-1, and requirements for fire-retardant covers for electric vehicles in accordance with DIN SPEC 91489.
